Radcliffes launches in Glasgow's Merchant City

Radcliffes, Glasgow's newest beauty and skincare salon, has opened in the Merchant City across from the much talked about Selfridges site. It is already tipped to be the most exclusive salon in the West and is fully booked for the first three weeks of opening.

Lisa Radcliffe, salon director (30), has dreamed of opening a salon for the past ten years and after having built an incredible client base in that time, she has been able to live that dream and open her new salon knowing that it's already a success. Private clients, a hen party and a corporate spa day have already booked to take advantage of the new salon, its fabulous treatment rooms and all the trimmings it has to make you feel special.

Radcliffes will be the flagship salon in the UK for Murad - the best pharmaceutical-grade ingredients combined with the latest skincare technology - and will stock some of the hottest beauty products on the market, including Fake Bake Gold, Jessana by Jessica and i.d. Bare Escentuals make up.

What really sets it head and shoulders above all the other beauty salons is the Radcliffe Girls - no-one else has these highly trained therapists and no-one else has the team experience. In Lisa's previous role at one of Glasgow's top spa's, she trained the Girls herself, (dubbed the Radcliffe Girls), and now that she has them on-board in her new salon, they will be trained in the latest techniques.

Local architects and builders were employed to help Lisa realise her dream and now that it's come true, there's no holding her back.

Lisa says: "It's such an exciting time for me, as I have been dreaming of my own salon for years.

I want to set new standards for beauty and skincare therapy and I want to train the Radcliffe Girls to become known for their exceptional skills in carrying out treatments. It's time the beauty industry kept up with the amazing products available on the market and started to offer something a bit more to clients.

I have a well-established and loyal client base already, through years of private client work, and I know most of them will introduce friends and family to Radcliffes.

It's an exciting time for us all and we are grateful for all the help in getting us here.
